What do I need to rent a car?
A driving licence held for at least 2 years, a passport or national ID card, and a credit or debit card in the main driver’s name for the deposit. Drivers must be 21 or older; drivers aged 21–24 pay a young-driver fee of 10 DT per day and can’t rent premium cars.
How much is the deposit?
It depends on the category: 600 DT (economy) up to 2,000 DT (premium). It is blocked on your card, not charged, and released within 48 hours of return. With Full insurance the deposit drops to 300 DT and your excess is zero.
How are discounts calculated?
Every Saturday and Sunday in your rental is 15% off. On top of that, long rentals get −10% from 7 days, −15% from 14 days and −20% from 30 days. You see every line in the price breakdown before you book.
What is the fuel policy?
Full to full. You receive the car with a full tank and return it full. If not, we refuel at the pump price plus a 20 DT service fee. Electric cars are delivered at 80% charge or more.
Can I return the car to another office?
Yes. A one-way fee applies based on the distance between the two offices — for example about 45 DT from Tunis to Hammamet and around 130 DT from Tunis to Djerba. It is shown in your price before you book.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up. You can cancel from My bookings on this site, or call any office. Changes to dates are free, subject to availability.
Can I drive to Algeria or Libya?
Cross-border travel is not allowed. Ferries to Europe are not permitted either. Everywhere in Tunisia — including the Sahara tracks around Douz with a 4×4 — is fine.
